OpenEXR has reached a 25 year milestone, first created in 1999 by ILM. This talk discusses that history, and with performance engineering, security practices, and continued innovation, what the TSC is doing to ensure it survives for another 25 years. What is performance engineering? Will cover that. What are security practices? Will cover that. How does this apply to your code bases? This talk should enable that. Should you open source everything? developing a good open standard isn't a smooth road, but this will discuss the value of that
