At Framestore, OpenQMC is a technology born from our desire to raise the quality and efficiency of our in-house renderer Freak. We are bringing this technology to ASWF as a sandbox project, and to the larger open source community. In this talk we will dive into how OpenQMC can be used to integrate advanced sampling techniques into pre-existing graphics applications, and the benefits this can provide. We will touch on how OpenQMC was built from the ground up with open source as a key part of its vision, and on our motivation to bringing it to the larger community. Finally, we want to let you know how to get involved, and be a voice in shaping OpenQMC moving forward.
