Open Source Days 2024

This technical presentation will dive into the development of AWS Deadline Cloud, a fully managed cloud rendering service, built in parallel with the open source Open Job Description (OJD) specification. We'll explore the architectural decisions made to integrate OJD as the foundation for defining and executing render jobs within Deadline Cloud, while ensuring OJD remained an independent open source project which could be valuable for the broader community. Attendees will gain insights into how the Deadline Cloud team worked to implement scalable and performant execution of OJD job specifications, addressing security and access management concerns specific to cloud rendering environments.
