This presentation will showcase live how OpenRV, an open source playback software, can enable cloud-based review sessions by integrating with three streaming solutions - Colorfront, Streambox, and Ultragrid. OpenRV leverages AJA's virtual KONA card to output video in the open source Cloud Digital Interface (CDI) format for reliable transport of uncompressed video between applications to facilitate high-quality video streaming directly from the cloud. The session will cover technical details like architecture, configuration, best practices for optimizing video quality/latency, and the future potential of open source tools like OpenRV for cloud-based review workflows.
